Doing Good is a design and innovation consultancy working solely with purpose-led organisations on projects that do good.

Doing Good was founded in 2021 by Laura Botsford out of a desire to bring her skills in innovation and service design to projects that would have a lasting positive impact.

Laura is an award winning innovator and service designer with extensive experience in employing human-centred design to solve complex challenges and develop successful products, services and campaigns. Her problem-solving career spans non-profit, public sector, digital agency and private sector.

Before founding Doing Good, Laura was Head of Digital and Design at Prince’s Trust International, where she oversaw the development of their first digital service, Vibe Check. Prior to that, she led Innovation and Strategic Projects at Action for Children, where she developed numerous award-winning fundraising innovations.

Samantha Doe

We are fortunate to collaborate with Samantha on our training offer. Samantha is a Digital and Communications leader with 13 years’ experience in not-for-profit, including UNICEF UK, Action for Children, Cancer Research UK and Sands. Her wholehearted style of leadership has empowered teams to thrive and deliver results. As a consultant coach, Samantha develops individuals to unlock their potential, improve their confidence, and flourish at what they do.

Lynn Roberts

Lynn is a digital, innovation and service design consultant, with 15 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector. Most recently she was Director of Service Design at Action for Children where she led the creation and scale-up of Parent Talk, a digital parenting service that has supported over 1.8 million children, young people, and families. 

With a strong focus on collaboration and strategic planning, Lynn can offer support from building strong multi-disciplinary teams to engaging users, experts and stakeholders to define and achieve shared objectives.
